Salisbury-Steak with Onion-Gravy


°Ground beef 450 g (1 lb), semi-lean
°60 ml (1/4 cup) breadcrumbs
°Worcestershire sauce 15 ml (1 tbsp)
°15 ml (1 tbsp) Dijon mustard
°Demi-glace sauce 1 can of 284 ml


In a bowl, mix the beef with the breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and egg. Salt and pepper.
Shape into four 2-cm (¾-inch) thick patties.
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side then place them on a plate.
In the same skillet, brown the onions over low-medium heat for 5 minutes.
Pour in the sauce and bring to a boil. Place the patties in the sauce. Cooking for 1 to 2 minutes on heat. When ready to serve, sprinkle with parsley.
