Peach Cobbler Cake




It was my grandmother's recipe from the 1940's and earlier. It's easy to do. I remember it was my favorite dessert as a kid. It's delicious when hot and served with ice cream or enjoyed cold on its own. Enjoy!

*ingredients:

 ° 1 can (29 ounces) sliced ​​peaches in juice, drained, and preserved for juice
 ° 1 cup self-raising flour
 ° 1 cup white sugar
 ° 1 egg
 ° Half a cup of melted butter
 
*Step by Step:

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Arrange peach slices in a 9-inch round baking dish. Pour about half of the reserved prune juice over it; Discard the remaining juice. Beat eggs, flour and sugar in a bowl until blended. Peach molding. Pour melt butter on flour mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
